I'm just curious. Obviously many of us here in this forum are writers of erotic stories. I'm curious if there's a story or something that specifically got you into the whole idea of eventually writing, or something from a story that kinda became a driving thought/theme behind your stories?

 

Before I posted in the last KAW I hadn't wrote in many years. I wrote flash stories back in the old BBs and Yahoo group days.

I lurked and commented then someone asked for a story about whatever. I wrote one. I found it fun, challenging and interesting. Sometimes had to research a subject of person then write it.

This time it was looking back and choosing something I hadn't tried before. Worked for me.

 

Through high school and college, I was good at writing reports and essays, and in adult life I wrote business correspondence, memos, and policy and procedure manuals. Creative writing? Never. Fiction was something I read.

I got inspired to try writing as a form of self-expression and self-entertainment by my first forum friend, ejls. I joined the site so I could send her a PM about her first entry on the Sex Stories site. She actually wrote back -- a real writer! Some encouragement from her got me started.

 

I always wrote stories since high school. but I was only able to do erotic stories after reading a few stories by this one author here on xnxx. I forgot this name, but he was really good. sadly, he passed away awhile back, and this stories were removed.

 

For me writing is a discipline. I write everyday. I hope one day to deal in words the way other people deal in drugs. I eventually want to write books that make people see the world differently, I want to write characters in witch average people see there reflection and sex is another facet of a vary complicated art form. Its an art form that inspires me, My hope is to be that one asshole writer on a porn sight, OF ALL PLACES, who draws you in with tantalizing, blood pumping, Oh so satisfying sex but then you have to finish the story because you need to know what happens to the characters. Although I haven't posted a full story yet so....we 'll see how well I do at at that. What got you wanting to write some naughty titbits LOannie2?

 

To me writing is just a fun hobby.

I knew he had written back in high school, so I dared my boyfriend to write a story, and it was amazing! He enjoyed it, and so did I. After a couple more, he turned the dare back on to me. My first try wasn't very good, but i enjoyed it so much.

So I guess you would say that it was his writing that inspired me.

 

It's the competitions which got me into the writing. So far all my stories have been for those, or spin offs.

 

Two friends mentored me on writing and helped me to formulate a story. If by any chance they're lurking, they know who they are.

 

I had always quite fancied writing stories but had never really thought seriously about it, until not long after I joined XNXX. There was a challenge by @ejls (the very first CAW) and I thought "Why not? I'll give it a go, could be fun to try."

I received some nice comments and encouragement from the likes of Ejls, @wantsomefun, @donb9033, @Daddycums and others, and I really enjoyed doing it. It became a hobby which I still enjoy now, six years later (when I have time).

 

My stories start off as factual/autobiographical but often ( though not always ) end up coloured by what I'd like to have happened . I'm very much into being watched or watching and somehow there have been many instances of both throughout my life both intentional and by accident without the other party being aware that I'm watching or am aware I'm being watched . Sometimes of course there's a question mark !

 

It's so long ago now. I started reading here and on lit, and finally joined in order to send messages to authors. One of them asked if I wanted to share a story back and forth. I said, "Hello, you're the writer, I'm the reader." He promised it would be fun, and I had my doubts, but asked if he would also help me. He and his family went away on an extended holiday and he dared me to write a story. I posted Karen while he was gone. I shudder when I see how badly written that was however, it stayed at the top for 30 days (that was before the trolls started voting people down). I also became friends with Invictus, another writer who is no longer here. He taught me the rules about writing. He was pretty happy I could spell when I sent him stories to proof, but it didn't take long to pick up the rules. I will be forever grateful to him.

I really enjoyed those early years and took the feedback I received very seriously. I went from writing mature to stepping outside my comfort zone with No Name. I've enjoyed the challenges because each time it causes me to stretch and grow as a storyteller. I owe all of you all a great deal. Thank you.

 

I wouldn't say one story inspired me but a few of these good ones that I have read. Then reading a writing competition that EJLS set up I was like well I don't know any of those stories but I know I can write, I have lots of sexual encounters. And a very vivid imagination to create some fantasy for people so I was like sure why not write, I know I don't have but two stories up right now but I have six or seven in the process of being written. Yeah they are long, but I put every detail in there to let you the reader get the feeling of the atmosphere in the story, letting you be able to take the "I" as if it was you there in the story its self. See a small comment turns into a massive paragraph. It's like writing is something that I just enjoy or has become a new passion for me and I give thanks to ejls and I can't really remember the other first to stories I read here but amazing!!!
