You seem to imply anyone can always get the upper hand in a fight, but only when considering it from the side of the "good guy." And while weight can be overcome, you can't say it has no bearing on a fight. I don't often fight but having been in enough to have won and had my ass beat on multiple occasions, you really don't sound like you know what you are talking about to me.

what I meant to say...was that I'm aware of that, but if someone's life is being threatened, they should fight back, and eliminate the threat to their life, and you don't have to kill somebody to do that. pulling a gun, is ultimately going to lead to shooting and most likely killing that person, when all you had to do was disarm and incapassitate(sp?) them.

If your life is being threatened, your survival instinct kicks in, and when it does, you shouldn't need a gun to protect yourself, unless the other person pulls one. Now I'm not saying that I'm the baddest motherfucker or anything, infact unless somebody pisses me off enough, I'm a huge pussy, but when you threaten my life, and won't stop until you kill me and leave me no choice but to defend myself, I don't care if you have a gun, cus I've got nothing to lose, since you're already planning on taking my life. If I was in a situation where some punk asses jumped me and were trying to beat me to death, I may not win, but you can be damn sure that I'm not dying without a fight.

women and older people are an exception of course, but men, old enough to protect themselves but not too old, should be able to handle it, in some way shape or form. without pulling a gun.

I've been in personally, and seen enough fights, to know that only one thing matters, and that is your will to win the fight. me personally, and many other people I know, have kicked people much bigger than ours' asses, because we weren't willing to take a beating. I'm saying, that it doesn't matter about weight, or height, or anything else, except who is not willing to back down, and whether I win or lose, I'm not gonna back down, no matter how big somebody is, cus for all you know, you could've taken that guy instead of just accepting a beating. I'm saying a gun is a coward's way out, because you shouldn't be weighing your options, and debating whether or not to fight back, if somebody is threatening your life. it's not a thinking matter, you defend yourself by any means necessary, until the threat is eliminated, and you should only kill if completely necessary.

I know, I'm not saying that women can't, I'm just saying, that women carrying guns is the exception to the rule for me, because a lot of them actually do need them.

I can accept your position to only kill when necessary, I don't agree with it, but I can accept it. What I don't accept is that anyone can beat anyone else's ass based on will. That sounds like dugout pep talk. It might get your adrenaline and endorphins going but it isn't a magic spell.

I don't think you should never kill to be honest only make them suffer really bad for what they did because if you kill them quickly how will they live with the regret of what they done? Being honest in my opinion killing sloves nothing.

if somebody is threatening your life, are you really going to let them do it, if you don't have a gun? wouldn't you fight back by any means necessary? see, me, I would, because there's no bargaining with them, they made their decision to kill me, so if I don't fight back, I'm dead, and if I die, at least I didn't die like a coward. I'll admit, that if somebody did something like jump me, or pull a gun, I'd be shocked for a minute or so most likely, and wouldn't know how to react, but when I realized that there was no possible way of getting out of it without defending myself, I would fight back out of just the pure fact that I'm not ready to die, and I want to live.
